We will be highlighting our newest LTE-M/NB-IoT module that we introduced in December. Monarch 2 GM02S is our first module based on our second-generation Monarch 2 technology, the world’s most advanced LTE-M/NB-IoT platform. It features the industry’s lowest power consumption and the highest security level, enabling crypto applications and iSIM. There is truly no other solution like it in the world today. The module is already in high demand, having been adopted by several customers who are building wearables, trackers, meters, and more — all with new efficiencies that have not been seen in our industry until now. The module is delivered with a new and very sophisticated evaluation kit called Monarch 2 GM02S NEKTAR that gives you everything needed to connect, evaluate, and prototype your IoT device.

Sequans CES 2021 Online Press Kit

During the week of CES and in the days leading up to it, we will be making several announcements. On January 6, we announced that Withings has adopted our Monarch 2 GM02S technology to build their next generation of IoT connected healthcare devices. Learn why Withings believes Monarch 2 to be “the most advanced cellular LTE-M/NB-IoT connectivity technology available today.”

We also announced the release of our next generation Cat 1 technology called Calliope 2. It is designed for those applications needing higher than LTE-M speed and/or VoLTE support such as connected headsets or alarm applications.

We announced an expanded collaboration with Renesas on 5G modules and a new one in the works based on our upcoming 5G Taurus platform.
