Former Texas Instruments GM joins 4G chip leader
PARIS – March 16, 2010 – 4G chipmaker Sequans Communications has appointed Sylvie Deschamps to the position of vice president, worldwide sales, where she will manage Sequans’ global sales and support organizations. Sylvie has more than 20 years’ experience in worldwide operations management in the semiconductor industry and has a broad range of management and international business skills.

Sylvie was general manager of the GSM, GPRS and Edge Wireless Terminal Business Unit at Texas Instruments where she also managed strategic alliances and IP-sourcing strategy. She managed a P&L of $500 million, developing and selling modem chipset solutions worldwide, achieving a number one position in the marketplace within three years.
