Former CFO of Alcatel-Lucent joins board of leading 4G chipmaker

PARIS — March 9, 2011  — 4G chipmaker Sequans announced today that Hubert de Pesquidoux, former CFO of Alcatel-Lucent, has been elected to its board of directors.

Hubert de Pesquidoux has a long career in senior financial management in the telecommunications industry.  He currently advises several private companies as part of HDP Consulting, and is also a board member of Tekelec, a US technology company. Earlier, de Pesquidoux was CFO at Alcatel-Lucent and president and CEO of Alcatel-Lucent’s Enterprise Business Group. He was also president and CEO of Alcatel North America and Alcatel Canada (formerly Newbridge Networks).

Hubert de Pesquidoux joins Sequans’ other board members: Jim Patterson, CEO of Mobile Symmetry and former senior executive at Sprint; Alok Sharma, former CEO of Telsima (now Aviat Networks); Zvi Slonimsky, former CEO of Alvarion; Michael Elias, managing director, Kennet Partners; David Ong, investment director, Add Partners; Dominique Pitteloud, independent director; and Georges Karam, chairman and CEO of Sequans. Mr. de Pesquidoux will head Sequans’ audit committee.
