The new Verizon SmartHub with LTE by Sequans is now available and Verizon customers have a very intelligent smart home solution for managing numerous smart home appliances and home services. The SmartHub is an all-inclusive home gateway solution that provides reliable high-speed internet, a home phone, and smart home management, all in one device that is able to connect with all of Verizon’s Smart Home accessories.
SmartHub can connect to more than 200 Wi-Fi enabled devices and is compatible with Verizon’s other smart home accessories. Homeowners can keep an eye on their homes when they are away with the Verizon Home App™ by remotely checking security cameras and sensors as well as door locks and lights. SmartHub is the quintessential smart home solution.
The LTE chip inside SmartHub is the Sequans’ Colibri LTE Platform, a Cat 4, 150 Mbps chipset and member of Sequans’ StreamrichLTE family of solutions for broadband and high performance IoT devices. Colibri comprises baseband and RF and a host of additional features for an ultra reliable and powerful LTE connection.
