PARIS – FRANCE

Within the Broadband System Integration team, you will be in charge of modem software integration and maintenance. You will be integrating new features related to all our 5G and LTE projects: NB-IoT, Cat1-12, CatM. You will also provide level 2 support and training to our customers and other teams in Sequans.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Integration of software changes (bug fixes and new features), with a strong focus on LTE protocol stack, RF management and low power procedures for embedded devices
• Writing and performing system integration tests plans
• Investigating issues raised on the field or coming from other teams to reproduce and diagnose the issue
• Provide remote and onsite support for the investigation of failing test cases during certifications, IOTs, IODTs
• Provide remote and onsite customer support from time to time

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE AND KNOWLEDGE

• Ability to understand and investigate interaction of various HW and SW blocks and their application in a wireless environment including protocol procedures
• QA methodology (test plans, tests reports…)
• Experience in embedded SW development, in power consumption management, in mobile communication protocols (GSM, GPRS, UMTS, LTE)
• Networking & protocols, data communications (Ethernet, TCP/IP) and application layers
• Knowledge in C and C++, Python, Linux, GIT, administration tools
• Ideally knowledge in LTE Rel 10, Rel 13 and Rel 14
• Experience of power management is desirable
