Within the System team, you will report to the System Director and will be in charge of the Modem FW developments for the future 5G releases in order to ensure the availability of a mature SW development & validation infrastructure and to deliver a global product with the level of quality required by the global Sequans quality policy for 5G future releases.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Controlling project budgets within his field of responsibilities
• Participating in Product/technology roadmap definition and controls execution within the System Department
• Assigning Software development /System Integration resources to the projects
• Establishing strategy for subcontracting/outsourcing parts when needed
• Ensuring good co-operation with the other departments of the company

KNOWLEDGE

• Good technical knowledge in SW development (embedded and/or applicative)
• Strong experience in team management, including off-shore teams
• Ability to interact at all levels within the company (strategic & hands-on)
• Good knowledge of semiconductor/wireless market
• Experience of wireless market

SKILLS

• Outstanding Management (project and people with 2 levels of reporting) and organizational skills
• Outstanding communication skills, English proficient

EDUCATION

• Master degree in Telecom Engineering  / Computer Science / Wireless Communications engineering
