IoT System Integration team is in charge of integrating modem and application features for Sequans 4G/5G cellular IoT products: GPS trackers, Power meter, Biometrics. This position requires a deep understanding of Sequans IoT technology including Base-Band, RF and SW architecture, 4G/5G system and IoT requirements. A System Integration Engineer defines and implements test strategy for LTE or Application features and provides comprehensive failure route cause analysis for 4G/5G defects.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Integration of software changes (bug fixes and new features), with a strong focus on (4G/5G) protocol stack, RF management and low power procedures for embedded devices.
• Investigate issues, analyze source code and propose code patches.
• Write and perform system integration tests plans.
• Investigate issues raised on the field or coming from other teams to reproduce and diagnose the issue.
• Provide remote and onsite support for the investigation of failing test cases found during chipset certification and prodcuts qualification.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE

• Engineering degree with 5 + years professional experience
• Experience in embedded software development or/and integration
• Knowledge in C and C++, Python, Linux, git, administration tools H26
• Fluent in English with excellent written and spoken communication skills
• Knowledge of mobile communication protocols (GSM, GPRS, UMTS, LTE) or wireless technology is a plus
