Customer Support Engineer – Paris, France – Tokyo, Japan


As Customer Support Engineer you will provide pre-sales and post-sales activities for Sequans’ System-on-Chips and module solutions for system vendors developing LTE products to provide the optimum technical support to our costumer portfolios.


  • Provide project management and frontline technical support for licensed customers during all phases of product development
  • Work in close co-operation with customer project manager to organize support, manage deliverables and plan activities
  • Responsible for performing first level analysis, reproducing technical issues reported by customers, troubleshooting and manage CRM cases and internal issue tickets.
  • Responsible for performing field tests and supporting certification activities (for Sequans or customer products)
  • Provide customer training for Sequans hardware and software products and contribute to documentation for customers and to internal product documentation
  • Assist OEM customers in their selection and partnership with third-party ODM vendors
  • Assist prospects in their evaluation of Sequans’ solutions. This activity includes promoting Sequans’ solutions, presenting Sequans’ products and roadmaps, supporting technical due diligence, tests with Sequans’ evaluation kits and so on
  • Work with product marketing, product managers, project managers and Sales to identify business opportunities and qualify new prospects
  • Assess new customer needs and work with product marketing team to meet customer expectations
  • Provide product demonstrations and attend major tradeshows to promote Sequans’ products

Required experience and knowledge:

  • S. degree or above in electrical engineering, communications and computing or equivalent
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in the telecommunications or IoT industry
  • Expertise in at least real-time embedded software development, MAC layer protocol design, Digital Signal Processing, and/or RF Design
  • System-level knowledge of wireless access systems
  • Knowledge of semiconductor/wireless market
  • Experience on semiconductor/wireless market
