Sequans' SQN1110 system-on-chip (SoC) is the industry's lowest power, lowest cost solution for manufacturers of WiMAX mobile stations. The SQN1110 is an advanced baseband chip compliant with the IEEE 802.16e-2005 standard. It implements in a single chip all MAC and PHY features required for wave 1 WiMAX certification, and is delivered with S3MAX, Sequans' comprehensive software package.

Applications

The SQN1110 delivers wireless broadband connectivity for mobile, portable, nomadic and fixed applications. Its high level of integration enables it to fit into the smallest of mobile devices, including handsets, smartphones, and PDAs. It is also suitable for fixed devices such as desktop modems and residential gateways, and portable devices such as PC cards, PCI Express MiniCards, USB dongles, and SDIO modules.
