S3MAX: the whole package
Sequans' software solution S3MAX is a complete software package designed for WiMAX-based systems and includes hardware drivers and MAC and scheduling functions. Its modular design allows system vendors to use existing software and expertise to differentiate their product, while leveraging Sequans' performance and time-to-market advantages.
S3MAX is easy to integrate with high-level software applications using well-defined C APIs. It operates under VxWorks and is portable to other real-time operating systems.
For embedded devices, no development is required on the SQN1130. Host drivers are provided for all main operating systems, and a protocol is provided to exchange data and commands between the host and the SQN1130.
