LTE
SEQUANS’ LTE development program was launched in 2009 and its first generation LTE chipset technology made its its debut as part of the world’s first TD-LTE demonstration network deployed by China Mobile for the World Expo 2010 in Shanghai. China Mobile selected Sequans to provide TD-LTE chips and USB dongles for the ground-breaking network, which became a global showcase for TD-LTE. Sequans became an early leader in TD-LTE and has since been chosen to power devices for two of the world’s first TD-LTE commercial deployments in Brazil and Australia.
Today, Sequans’ second generation LTE semiconductor solutions have been introduced. The solutions represent the state-of-the-art in LTE semiconductor technology and support all networks worldwide, FDD and TDD. They are built in 40 nm CMOS process and deliver high performance with ultra low power consumption in a tiny package.
