SEQUANS WINS RED HERRING 100 GLOBAL 2007 AWARD
PARIS, France and CUPERTINO, Calif. — December 7, 2007 — Sequans Communications, leading WiMAX chipmaker, announced today that it has won a Red Herring 100 Global award. The first-time awards program was designed by Red Herring to recognize the most promising tech startups in the world.
The winners were chosen from among 1800 companies that were Red Herring 100 winners and finalists from North America, Europe and Asia during the last three years. The Red Herring editorial team used a very competitive process to select the final 100 winners of this first-time award. Evaluations were made on both quantitative and qualitative criteria such as financial performance, innovation, management, global strategy, and ecosystem integration. Sequans was a winner of Red Herring Europe 100 earlier this year.
