isoSequans Communications is an ISO 9001:2008 certified company. ISO (International Organization for Standardization) is an internationally renowned quality standards organization, and ISO certification recognizes Sequans successful implementation of a total quality management system across all its worldwide locations. Sequans is one of the first few companies to receive certification under this newest ISO standard, which was published in November of 2008. Lloyd’s Quality Assurance, a leading global, independent quality assurance organization, awarded the certification.

At Sequans quality is a given and is an integral part of our design, carefully planned and built into every Sequans product. We have established a total quality system based on ISO standards and have implemented this system throughout every Sequans department and function and have extended it to our suppliers, requiring each one to be ISO 9000 and ISO 14000 certified. This ensures that every component of every product delivered to customers is of the highest quality and reliability.

Product Reliability

Sequans employs “Product Lifecycle Management Procedures” that guide quality management at each stage of development so that quality is established at each step before progressing to the next. Technical and business goals are assessed and recorded and the knowledge collected is passed on to other developments in process.

Product Qualification

Our IC products are qualified according to stringent tests, including stress tests of operating conditions such as power and temperature, and reliability conditions such as failure and wear out rates. All tests are based on standards set by JEDEC (Joint Electron Device Engineering Council).

Software Quality Similarly, our software products undergo validation at each phase of development from feasibility to specification to system tests where stability is ensured through active monitoring and rigorous testing.

Problem Resolution Process

Sequans employs the “8-Discipline” approach for problem solving. All problems are recorded in a traceable and searchable non-conformity log that is used to ensure all issues are resolved to customer satisfaction.

Customer Field Support

Highly qualified field applications engineers that work directly with customers on a local level support all customers. These field support teams work with customers to identify root causes of issues encountered and to quickly develop solutions. Sequans is a global company with support personnel all over the world.
