Dr. Georges Karam Dr. Georges Karam, chairman
President and chief executive officer

Before founding Sequans Communications, Georges Karam was vice president of cable access for Juniper Networks, running the cable engineering and marketing departments and managing the cable sales launch in EMEA. He joined Juniper Networks when the company acquired Pacific Broadband Communications (PBC), where he was vice president of engineering and general manager for Europe. At PBC he was the first key executive to join the company and was instrumental to success. Georges has served in a variety of senior management positions at Alcatel, SAGEM and Philips. He is a senior member of IEEE, has authored numerous technical and scientific papers, and holds several patents in digital communications.
Zvi Slonimsky Zvi Slonimsky, director
Chairman of the board, Teledata

Zvi Slonimsky is currently chairman of the board of Teledata and a board member of Alvarion. He served as CEO of Alvarion (NASDAQ: ALVR) from 2001 to October 2005, following Alvarion's establishment via merger of BreezeCOM and Floware in August 2001. Prior to the merger, Zvi was CEO of BreezeCom. Before that, he served as president and CEO of MTS Ltd. and was general manager of DSP Group, Israel. Earlier in his career, he held senior positions at several Israeli telecom companies, including C.Mer and Tadiran. Zvi holds BSEE and MSEE degrees from the Technion Israel Institute for Technology and an MBA degree from Tel-Aviv University.
Michael Elias Michael Elias, director
Managing director, Kennet Partners

Michael Elias is a managing director of Kennet Partners. Prior to founding Kennet in 1997, he spent 11 years at the venture capital firm Thompson Clive. Michael was responsible for establishing Thompson Clive's offices in both Silicon Valley and Paris. He has been a director of Paragon Software (acquired by Openwave), Altitun (acquired by ADC Telecommunications), No Wires Needed (acquired by Intersil), Monis (acquired by Sungard Data Systems), and Ubizen (acquired by Cybertrust). In addition to serving on the board of Sequans, he serves on the boards of ChipIdea Microlectronica, Adviva and Media Limited. Michael has an MSc degree from Cambridge University, where he was a Marshall Scholar, and a BA degree from Harvard University.
David Ong David Ong, director
Investment director, Add Partners

David Ong joined the investment team at Add Partners in 2003 after 17 years in technology and venture capital. Previously, Ong was an investment director at Vertex Management, a multinational private equity firm based in Singapore. He was part of the Vertex European team, focused on technology investments. Prior to that, David spent 13 years in the semiconductor industry, working as a chip designer and head of product development in Silicon Valley and Singapore, and then heading product marketing. He is named as a co-inventor in eight US patents. David is Malaysian and holds a BSEE degree from the National University of Singapore.
Dominique Pitteloud Dominique Pitteloud, director
Principal, Vision Capital

Dominique Pitteloud joined Vision Capital's Geneva team in 2001 after 15 years' operational experience in Silicon Valley. His investment focus includes telecom equipment, Internet infrastructure and semiconductors. Prior to joining Vision Capital, Dominique was vice president of marketing at 8x8, a Silicon Valley semiconductor and telecom equipment company. He joined 8x8 in 1999 as part of the acquisition of Odisei, a telecom startup from Sophia Antipolis, France. At Odisei, he led the development of the company's business and financing activities. Prior to Odisei, Dominique held various engineering and management positions at Logitech, a market leader in computer peripherals, including vice president of the scanner and video camera business units. At Vision Capital, he has been responsible for the group's investments in Sphera, Medio Lario and Staccato Communications. He holds a BS degree in Telecom from the Swiss engineering school, Yverdon, and an MBA from Santa Clara University.
