R&D DSP Engineer for WiMAX

Responsibilities:

Working within the DSP team, you will participate in the research and development activities of Sequans. You will be in charge of the following activities:

    • Research and development of new algorithms for the existing and future Sequans products.
    • Implementation and validation of the methods in the WiMAX baseband simulator of the DSP team.
    • You produce and update design documents along with the development process.
    • You may have to support the standard team to contribute to existing and future IEEE standards.

Your profile:

You are highly motivated, fast learner and autonomous. You have a strong will to work within a team. You have a strong will to perform research activities that enables to improve existing or future products. You want to propose innovative algorithms and support the whole process up to their integration into a product. Ideally, you have previous knowledge of PHY layer protocol for broadband wireless access systems.

Required Experience

    • Engineering degree (MSc. degree, Ph.D. degree is a plus)
    • Strong background in digital communications and signal processing  is required
    • Working experience in C and Matlab
    • Knowledge on simulations tools such as CCSS is a plus
    • Knowledge of broadband wireless access systems (Wifi, WiMAX, 3GPP, …) is a plus
    • Excellent communication skills, both written and oral
    • Fluent in English
