Working within a dynamic design team you will participate in the development of next generation RFIC products for 4G wireless communication networks.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Assist in supporting the CAD tool infrastructure in our European design centers
  • Work closely with other design centers within the organization in synchronizing tools, methodology, and design flow
  • Provide broad technical expertise in state of the art ASIC design tools
  • Limited IT support in the UK design center

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • IT support to optimize the use and performance of EDA tools
  • Working with vendors and suppliers to obtain the best tools needed for a project and be able to provide local support
  • Customization of EDA tools, flow, methodology and IT infrastructure to provide support to all sites in all countries
  • Good working knowledge of most of the RF tools (Cadence based flow) and some of the digital tools

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:

  • Engineering degree in a relevant discipline. BSc, MSc or equivalent
  • 3 to 5 years’ experience of relevant IC CAD experience
  • Fluent English speaker

REQUIRED CAD SKILLS:

  • Experience with Physical Verification debugging techniques (DRC and LVS)
  • Administering FlexLM license servers: license installation, options files
  • Administration of Revision control systems (Cliosoft SOS, ICManage, Synchronicity DesignSync)
  • Virtuoso administration
  • Schematic/layout navigation
  • Familiarity with purpose of cdsenv files
  • Library creation
  • SKILL programming
