Platform Integration Engineer – Paris, France

PARIS (FRANCE)

As a part of platform department, the integration team is in charge of integrating and validating various hardware components, low level software, and of qualifying the platform as a whole. In order to reinforce the team, we are looking for a WiMAX/LTE platform integration engineer.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

You will be involved in

• Elaborating validation strategy in close collaboration with all teams involved: ASIC, DSP/Layer 1, HW Design, Software etc…
• Developing and maintaining the test applications
• Solving identified issues with development teams (bugs or architecture modifications)
• Giving outstanding support to all R&D teams and to Sequans’ customers

• Wish to develop a cross-competence vision of our 4G product
• Good knowledge of hardware and embedded software development environment

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:

With an engineering degree and 3 to 5 year(s) experience in engineering, you are highly skilled on following topics:

• Platform integration (involving both HW and SW), in a telecommunications
  environment (Digital TV, Wi-Fi, CDMA, 2G/3G…)
• Low level software (drivers, firmware)
• English (French is a plus)
• Fast learning capabilities, ability to work in a team
• An advanced knowledge of telecom standards, such as UMTS, LTE, WiMAX or DOCSIS is a plus
